New ownership took over Le Galway on the 10th of February 2005. We wait to see how they go. Early signs are not promising. Intrepid reporters have spotted pints of Guiness being poured in one pull, and the crack certainly seems to have vanished. Happy hours remain the same 5pm to 7pm and the prices have so far not changed. You can be sure that the vast resources of PFC will keep you updated if Le Galway shows any sign of recovering its old magic.
Many thanks to Jacques, Steve, Antoine, Darren, Kev, Charlie, Yves and the musos for the good times. A good Irish bar IS its people. We'll see if the new ownership understand that someday.

Pure and simply, the best Irish pub in Paris. I have to say I tend to find myself in this pub around five nights a week. Sometimes till 5am and beyond. It is not only the beers and whiskeys that make this bar so unique, but the charming bar staff. Always up for a laugh, dynamic and very good looking. On occasions, it has been hard to get a pint of the black stuff, due to the number of girls drooling at the bar, and being amazed by the charm of these true professionals. Worth a look !!! (I think Darren's looking for a pay rise... Ed)
