The Highlander

8 rue de Nevers
Paris 75006
01 43 26 54 20

Metro: Odéon, Pont Neuf (cross the bridge)

Situated on the Rive Gauche side of Pont Neuf. Go under the arch opposite the bridge and the Highlander is there on your right. In the evening, from its opening time of 5pm the Highlander is a pleasant spot for a quiet happy hour drink (happy hour runs until 8pm). Things can liven up quite considerably later in the evening, depending on the evening's events.

A Scottish theme creates the ambiance with much interesting decor to look at. The theme is also reflected in the choice of draught beers on offer. Draught beers/ciders include 1664, Fosters, Strongbow Cider, Caledonian, Beamish Stout, Beamish Red, Kronenbourg. Selection of Malt whiskies and cocktails.

The Highlander plays host to poetry readings, live music, a quiz and when nothing else is on there's always the football to watch. Staff are friendly and your host, Jimmy, makes everyone welcome.
